We have lived in the lakeview area for years. During the summer, we discovered Sopranos while walking our dog. They are very dog friendly on their patio. We have certainly enjoyed the pasta entrees since the weather has finally been a little colder. The best part is how their staff not only knows us by name, but actively engages in fun conversation. I sometimes dine at Sopranos solo because I feel that comfortable. I wish they had more locations throughout the city, but then I guess they would be like every other chain restaurant. Worth a visit...and once you become a regular and have a favorite server...you will certainly be hooked. Enjoy!!
Pros: Martini List, Live Music, Portions, Pricing
Cons: Music a little loud at times

This has been our local favorite for years. The amazing thing about this restaurant is how welcome they make you feel. This restaurant truly values their loyal, neighborhood crowd. Their recent menu changes certainly made us happy...we have been waiting for the veal parmegiana! It seems their wine list is becoming better and better every year. Weekends are busy...make reservations. Enjoy!
Worst service I've EVER had

I will never go back to Soprano's again. The food was okay and the setting was so-so, but the service was terrible. When the bill was paid, the waiter actually came back to us and asked why he received the tip we gave him. Not only were we taken aback by his boldness, we were completely turned off by the way he stood around until we gave him more money.

My husband and I are frequent customers of Sopranos. We love the food, but more importantly, their service is top notch. We never feel rushed and they are happy to whip up something special for us even on a Saturday night. This is definitely our local favorite.
