- Resident house DJ's
Goodbar draws a Lincoln Park college student and young professionals crowd. On the weekends, DJs spin as the crowd fills the back room creating a makeshift dance floor. There is even an elevated dance pole by the back bar. Goodbar is known for their great parties and low drink prices. There are two completely private rooms available for parties and the bar is lined in banquette seating for smaller groups. We are flexible in meeting any of your private party needs and will go to great lengths to satisfy the needs of all of our customer requests. For more information, call Randy at 773-851-4212 or visit our website at www.goodbar.com.

This was one place I always hated coming to. Everything is overpriced, and it takes quite some time to get a drink. I do remember them having an all-you-can-drink deal (I don't remember it lasting long, but you could get mixed drinks), which earned it the one star I'm giving it. The crowd is usually a bunch of "macho dudes" who are often starting fights inside the bar or out front after being kicked out by overly aggressive and rude bouncers. I also think about 50-60% of everyone in the bar is usually underage (there were always a lot of highschoolers there when I was a sophomore in college), so the younger you are, the better. The DJ is usually pretty good, and the bonus of a stripper pole in the back is always appreciated since drunk gals can't seem to resist the thing, which earns it another star.
Pros: Usually dressed-up, good looking crowd. Music is alright. Stripper pole. Great place to drunkenly meet people of the opposite gender.
Cons: Expensive, crowded, huge "bro" scene, young highschool popularity-contest feeling.
Local place for the local students

If you want to find the local depaul students on a monday night, goodbar is the spot. Cheap drinks, but no lights. Crowded, which could go either way. Not much room to dance, so go to drink, and yell at the people your with. All in all though, not a bad hangout.
Pros: music, deals
Cons: crowd, line
